The current Lodge building was completed in 1976. The Bement Masonic Lodge has had a Chapter since 1854, and in the early years members would attend the Monticello Masonic Lodge building for meetings. The Masons are the biggest charity givers in the world for causes such as diabetes, hearing disorders, the Shriners Hospital, and scholarships. Overall the Masonic organization membership is growing. There are 150 Grand Mason Lodges in different countries throughout the world. The Bement Masonic Lodge has recently developed a book with information and pictures regarding the Bement Chapter.
