Instructions - How to check the number of Online hours you use
on Internet Bement

1. Get on line if you are not already there as you read this. If you are already on line proceed to step 2. You may find it easier to print out this page as you go through the procedure.

2. Click on the URL below:
http://stinger.monticellopro.net/util/nbcheck.html, If you get the message, "This page cannot be displayed. . ." or " unable to locate server. . ." then you are not on line.

3. Mark this page in Favorites (in Internet Explorer) by clicking once with the left mouse button on Favorites, and clicking once with the left mouse button on Add to Favorites or Add Bookmark.
A box will appear with the address http://stinger.monticelllopro.net/util/nbcheck.html . Click once with the left mouse button on OK. The address will now appear in Favorites or Bookmarks.

4. With the address: http://stinger.monticellopro.net/util/nbcheck.html in the address box or location box, please hit the Enter button on your keyboard. A page will appear that is titled:

Internet Bement Dialup Statistics

These are the instructions you will find on the Dialup Statistics page:

"Please enter your dial-in user name and password."

This user name is the first word of your e-mail address. For example, if puppy@bement.net were your address you would type puppy in the User Name Box.

Enter User Name:

Type your password in the password box. You will not be able to see which letters you type, as they will appear as stars, for security. Make certain that your Caps Lock Key has not been accidentally been pressed or your password won't work. No one changes your password. If you need your password change, contact Kestrel Technologies, Inc. @ 762-3232.

Note: If your password does not work, please check to see that you are typing the password correctly, and that the Caps Lock is not turned on. Look at the small lights, generally located on the right hand side of the keyboard above the numeric keypad. There are generally three boxes there; "Num Lock", "Caps Lock", "Scroll Lock", if a light is lit then that function has been turned "on". If "Caps Lock" is on, press the "Caps Lock" key, left side of keyboard, once to turn it off.

5. Click once on Check Me with the left mouse button.

6. That's it. Now you can check your Internet Bement online hours anytime you wish. You can use this feature of Internet Bement to monitor when your household is online and how long each session lasts.

7. Don't forget to add this page to your Favorites or Bookmarks.
