Box tops (10 cents per label) submitted through the school will benefit the Bement School Playground. The PTA is also collecting Tyson Project A+ labels (24 cents each when we get 100 to submit) to benefit the Bement School Playground. If you would like to make a donation to the PTA Playground Fund, make checks payable to Bement PTA Playground and send to Valerie Stoerger at PO Box 181, Ivesdale, IL 61851. And for Illini fans, we have a picture for you! The Bement PTA Playground Committee is selling raffle tickets for a limited edition Chief Illiniwek photograph featuring former Chief Illiniwek Scott Christensen. The photograph is beautifully matted and framed, and was taken in 1980 by Gene Schnierle, and has been donated to our group. Ticket prices are $5 each or $20 for 5 tickets.
